The Mischief Manifesto

Sleepy Hollow

SLEEPY HOLLOW.

ROLL ON OVER TO ME.

SIGHING, OPENING EYES, CLOSING THEM,

FINDING WAYS TO LAY INTO YOU,

SMOOTHER AND WARMER THAN IN MEMORY.

SLEEPY IS GOOD.

IF WE WERE ALL SLEEPY THE WORLD WOULD BE NICER.

CRYSTAL SENSIBILITIES.

MITES SCURRY UNDER A PEARLITE AWNING,

FLOWERS SLOWLY CRUMBLE,

AND DAYS PASS BY GENTLY

LIKE THE NEXT EPISODE OF DAYS IS ON AUTOPLAY

AND YOU DON’T HAVE TO PUSH ANY BUTTONS.

YESTERDAY I DIDN’T WORK CAUSE IT WAS CLOUDY.

TODAY I DIDN’T WORK CAUSE IT IS SHINING.

THERE’S SPIDERWEB GLITTER ON THE INSECT SCREEN.

OW OW OW THAT MUSIC HURT.

IT SOUNDED LIKE

SOMEONE TRYING TO SQUEEZE A SONG OUT OF THE DRYWALL.
